Job summary

Boardroom Appointments is seeking a Senior .Net Full Stack Developer for a 6-month contract in Cape Town. You will design, develop and maintain web applications using .NET Core and ASP.NET, and build robust RESTful APIs.

Collaborate with Product Owners, BAs and UX/UI, participate in code reviews, mentor juniors, and contribute to DevOps pipelines with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or Jenkins. Strong OOP, design patterns and cloud experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer with .NET focus.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or related field.
• Cloud experience with Azure or AWS is a plus.
• Strong OOP, design patterns and testing mindset.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain web apps using .NET Core/ASP.NET.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, BAs, and UX/UI designers.
• Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with external systems.
• Write clean, well-documented code following best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor juniors.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize backend and frontend performance.
• Implement unit tests and contribute to automated testing frameworks.
• Contribute to DevOps pipelines and CI/CD with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins.
• Ensure application security, scalability, and reliability.
