Placements24 is seeking a Senior Logistics Coordinator for its Midrand, Gauteng operations. You will oversee freight forwarding, customs clearance, warehousing, and daily logistics activities to ensure smooth, cost-efficient movement of goods.

Your leadership will drive process improvements and strong supplier collaboration in a fast-paced setting. The role requires a minimum of 5 years in logistics, a degree in a related field, and a proven ability to reduce costs while maintaining service

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in logistics and supply chain management, preferably in fast-paced warehousing.
• Proven track record in optimizing logistics operations and reducing costs.
• Strong understanding of global trade, customs regulations, and international shipping practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage daily logistics operations including freight forwarding, customs clearance, and warehousing activities.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to improve supply chain efficiency, reduce transportation costs, and enhance delivery times.
• Coordinate with carriers, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure timely and cost-effective movement of goods.
• Monitor inventory levels and manage warehouse operations to maintain accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
