Qualifications

• At least 3 years experience in a legal attorney/firm with understanding of legal practice and knowledge of general legal processes (labour, action and application proceedings).
• Paralegal qualification will be an advantage.
• Strong typing, proofreading, and administrative skills.

Responsibilities

• Invoicing of files and arranging payment of invoices, and following up on debtors.
• Reconcile accounts and identify invoices not paid; assist with accounting procedures using AJS/FLOW when applicable.
• Draft and proofread correspondence, define and prepare legal documents, and prepare large bundles of documentation (photocopying and scanning).
• Accurate filing, sorting documents in chronological order, and handling Excel/Word tasks; able to work under pressure.
