Job summary

Accso is seeking a seasoned software engineer to tackle challenging projects for well-known German and South African clients. You will design, develop and implement robust software solutions using AI-native approaches throughout the lifecycle.

Responsibilities include building backend services and REST APIs, applying OO design, and contributing to code reviews, performance tuning, and CI/CD practices. You will collaborate across disciplines and continuously raise engineering standards.

Qualifications

• University degree in computer science or comparable discipline.
• At least 5 years of professional software development experience with listed technologies.
• Experience with agile methods such as Scrum or Design Thinking.
• Proactive, pragmatic and team-oriented with strong collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Solve challenging software engineering problems across diverse projects for large clients.
• Design, develop and implement robust software using AI-native development methods.
• Build backend services, REST APIs and integration layers with OO design patterns.
• Contribute to code reviews, performance tuning and CI/CD practices.
