Job summary

Optimal Growth Technologies is seeking a Sr. System Administrator for a 12-month fully remote contract. You will manage and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage, with emphasis on Windows and Linux environments.

Qualifications

Proficient in managing Windows and Linux servers with a focus on availability and security.
Experience in virtualization, backups, disaster recovery, and DR testing.
Strong knowledge of AD, Citrix, and cloud integrations.
Familiarity with network concepts, firewalls, and monitoring tools.
Ability to document configurations and procedures clearly.

Responsibilities

Manage and maintain IT infrastructure including servers, networks, and storage.
Oversee administration of Windows and Linux servers for performance and security.
Implement and manage virtualization solutions (VMware/Hyper-V).
Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery plans.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues promptly.
Enforce security policies and conduct vulnerability assessments.
Manage user accounts and access controls in directory services.
