Job summary

Optimal Growth Technologies Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer is sought to provide senior-level expertise across cloud infrastructure and Microsoft technologies for enterprise IT environments. The role is remote, with ad-hoc, project-based work supporting migrations, upgrades, security practices, and operations.

You will design, implement, and troubleshoot Azure-based solutions, manage Active Directory, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver project requirements with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in large corporate / enterprise IT environments.
• Strong experience in Cloud Infrastructure Engineering and Microsoft Azure.
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Active Directory.
• Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure, networking, security, and systems administration.
• Experience supporting cloud infrastructure projects and technical implementations.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage ad-hoc project requirements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, maintain, and support cloud infrastructure environments.
• Provide senior technical expertise on ad-hoc infrastructure and cloud projects.
• Support and manage Microsoft Azure cloud services and environments.
• Administer and support Microsoft Active Directory and related Microsoft infrastructure technologies.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, cloud, connectivity, and system-related issues.
• Assist with cloud migrations, infrastructure upgrades, integrations, and optimisation initiatives.
• Implement and maintain infrastructure security, access controls, and best practices.
• Collaborate with technical teams, stakeholders, and client representatives to deliver project requirements.
• Provide technical documentation, reporting, and knowledge transfer where required.
• Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture, security, performance, and operational requirements.
