Job summary

Datacentrix is seeking a Senior Information Technology Specialist to assist with operations, troubleshooting, and maintenance of the technology infrastructure and systems in Montague Gardens, Cape Town. This permanent position focuses on network operations, server support, and end-user assistance.

Required are 5–8 years of LAN/WAN generalist experience, MCSE or equivalent, and strong Windows Server, IIS, Exchange/O365/Azure skills.

Qualifications

Grade 12 and MCSE or equivalent certification.
Minimum 5–8 years as a generalist in LAN/WAN environments.
5 years' experience supporting end users in a Microsoft Server environment.

Responsibilities

Provide coverage and support for Network operations and IT Department as directed by supervisor.
Provide technical support for the Business Unit.
Monitor and maintain Business Unit services.
Analyze log files and fix or record errors.
Monitor server and data backup processes.
Configure network devices as directed.
Support endpoint device management and software deployment.
