Job summary

Network Finance seeks an experienced IT security professional to implement, manage and maintain security infrastructure across our enterprise in the North West region of South Africa. You will respond to security incidents, perform threat detection and mitigation, and support governance, risk and compliance initiatives.

You will develop Linux scripts to automate processes, administer access controls, and document security procedures while collaborating with technical teams to improve controls

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of IT security experience required.
• Experience with security infrastructure, operations, and incident handling.
• Proficient in Linux scripting and access control administration.
• Knowledge of vulnerability management, risk assessment, and GRC.

Responsibilities

• Implement, manage, and maintain IT security infrastructure.
• Respond to security incidents and assist with investigations and threat mitigation.
• Conduct vulnerability management activities and risk assessments.
• Support Governance, Risk and Compliance initiatives.
• Develop and maintain Linux scripts to automate work processes.
• Maintain access controls for servers and related environments.
• Document and improve security procedures and processes.
• Provide security guidance to technical teams.
• Identify security risks and implement mitigation measures.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of IT security controls and operations.
• Support secure operation and maintenance of server environments.
