Placements24 is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex technology integration projects in Benoni, Gauteng. You will oversee software, hardware and network deployments, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery and client satisfaction.

Ideal candidates possess 7-9 years in IT project management, strong leadership and stakeholder skills, and certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2 or SAFe. A solid cloud, cybersecurity and SDLC background is required for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field.
• PMP, PRINCE2 or Agile certifications (e.g., CSM, SAFe) are highly desirable.
• Minimum 7-9 years of IT project management experience, focused on integration, deployment or infrastructure.
• Experience managing projects in the Benoni/Gauteng region is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of cloud, cybersecurity, networking and SDLC.
• Excellent leadership, communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and prioritize effectively.
• Proficiency with MS Project, Jira, Asana or similar PM tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution and delivery of technology integration projects (software, hardware, network).
• Define scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines and budgets with stakeholders and tech teams.
• Manage resources, including internal teams and vendors, for efficient utilization.
• Identify and mitigate risks; implement proactive solutions throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain project plans, status reports and documentation.
• Facilitate communication among teams, clients and senior management.
• Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and client satisfaction.
• Handle change requests and assess impacts on timelines and budgets.
• Oversee procurement of hardware, software and services.
• Drive continuous improvement in PM methodologies and deployments.
