Placements24 is seeking an experienced Investment Banker in Rustenburg to originate and execute M&A and capital markets transactions. You will build and maintain client relationships, provide strategic financial advice, and lead multi-disciplinary deal teams.

The role requires deep financial modeling skills, strong negotiation abilities, and a robust network within corporate and financial communities. Candidates should have 8+ years of relevant experience and an MBA or equivalent degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 8 years in investment banking, corporate finance, or private equity.

Responsibilities

• Originate new client relationships and identify M&A, capital raising, and advisory opportunities.
• Lead and manage the execution of M&A transactions, including due diligence, negotiation, and closing.
• Develop financial models, valuation analyses, and business plans.
• Prepare pitch books, presentations, and marketing materials for client meetings and transactions.
• Advise clients on strategic financial decisions, capital structure, and market positioning.
• Conduct industry research and market analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships with corporate executives, private equity firms, and institutional investors.
• Collaborate with legal and research teams to ensure transaction success.
• Stay updated on market developments and regulatory changes.
