You will conduct regular stocktakes, manage IMS and POS systems, generate reports, and guide junior staff while maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency in daily operations.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in stock control or inventory management within retail.
• Experience with IMS and POS systems.
• Strong Excel and analytical skills.
• Physically capable of stocktaking duties including lifting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inventory control and stock management for the Soweto store.
• Conduct regular stocktakes and cycle counts; identify discrepancies.
• Investigate variances; implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Maintain stock records in the IMS.
• Monitor stock levels to prevent overstocking and stockouts.
• Process stock movements (receiving, transfers, returns) accurately.
• Forecast stock requirements and manage stock flow.
• Generate reports on inventory status and variances; train junior staff.
