Job summary

Network Recruitment seeks an experienced Senior Internal Auditor to join its Group Internal Audit function in Gauteng, South Africa. You will deliver risk-based assurance and advisory services across ICT, Sales, and Distribution, partnering with management to strengthen controls and governance.

The role offers broad exposure to multiple business units, interaction with senior stakeholders, and the opportunity to influence risk management and operational effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Honours in Accounting, Internal Audit, Risk Management, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 5 years’ internal audit experience
• Experience with IT General Controls (ITGCs) and application controls advantageous
• Ability to independently manage multiple audits from planning through to final reporting
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Execute risk-based internal audits from planning to reporting
• Assess the effectiveness of internal controls, governance structures, and risk management processes
• Identify control deficiencies and recommend practical improvements
• Prepare and present audit findings and recommendations to management
• Conduct follow-up reviews to ensure implementation of agreed actions
• Assist with enterprise risk assessments and special investigations where required
• Build strong relationships with operational and executive stakeholders
• Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies where necessary
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of audit methodologies and processes
