Job summary

Network Finance in Gauteng is seeking an experienced Internal Auditor to manage risk-based audits from planning to reporting. The role demands strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and liaise with senior management.

Ideal candidates hold CIA qualifications and have at least five years in internal audit, with knowledge of risk management and governance frameworks. Travel within the SADC region is required twice yearly for two days.

Qualifications

• CIA qualification or completion of 2 CIA examinations
• Minimum 5 years' Internal Audit experience
• Strong knowledge of Risk Management, Governance, and Compliance
• ITGC and application controls experience advantageous
• Ability to work independently and manage audits end-to-end

Responsibilities

• Execute risk-based internal audits from planning to reporting
• Assess internal controls, governance, and risk management processes
• Identify control weaknesses and recommend improvements
• Prepare and present audit reports to management
• Conduct follow-up audits and monitor corrective actions
• Assist with risk assessments and fraud investigations
• Engage confidently with senior and executive management
• Liaise with external auditors where required
