Qualifications

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• PrEng registration with ECSA is essential.
• At least 10 years of experience in project engineering and management, with a focus on infrastructure.
• Experience managing projects with budgets exceeding R50 million.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management, with Stellenbosch area experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the full lifecycle of infrastructure projects, including planning, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, monitoring progress and addressing deviations.
• Oversee and coordinate the work of engineering teams, contractors, and consultants involved in the project.
• Identify, assess, and manage project risks, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
• Ensure all project activities comply with relevant engineering codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
