Placements24 is seeking a Senior Information Security Specialist to join our remote team supporting operations in Bloemfontein. You will lead hands-on security tooling, threat detection, and incident response to protect digital assets.

In this remote role, you will implement and manage SIEM/EDR, conduct regular vulnerability assessments, and mentor junior security staff while developing security runbooks and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of experience in information security operations, threat analysis, or incident response.
