Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Senior Industrial Reliability Engineer for our mining services client in Kimberley, Northern Cape. The role focuses on developing and implementing robust reliability programs, including RCM, RCA and PdM, to minimize downtime and reduce maintenance costs.

You will ensure safe, reliable operation of industrial equipment across sites. The ideal candidate has 6–8 years in industrial maintenance or reliability, with CMMS proficiency and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or related field.
6–8 years in industrial maintenance, reliability, or asset management.
Experience implementing RCM, RCA, PdM and PM programs.

Responsibilities

Develop and manage reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) programs.
Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) on equipment failures.
Develop predictive maintenance (PdM) strategies using vibration analysis and other diagnostic tools.
Monitor equipment performance and identify reliability issues.
Optimize preventive maintenance schedules to maximize availability and minimize costs.
Prepare reports on reliability performance and recommended actions.
