Qualifications
- National Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 6+ years in field service/maintenance of industrial machinery.
- Strong troubleshooting for electrical systems including control circuits, motors, PLCs, and HMI.
- Willingness to travel within SA.
- Valid driver's license.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and mechanical issues on industrial equipment at customer sites.
- Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and installations according to service manuals and specifications.
- Provide on-site technical support and guidance to customer personnel.
- Identify and order necessary spare parts for repairs and maintenance.
- Complete and submit detailed service reports, time sheets, and expense reports accurately and promptly.
- Ensure adherence to safety policies and procedures.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers as trusted technical advisor.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by feedback on product performance.
