Qualifications

• Diploma or National Certificate in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with industrial automation systems.
• Proficiency in programming and troubleshooting Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or other major PLC platforms.
• Experience with robotics (e.g., FANUC, KUKA) and HMI/SCADA software.
• Strong understanding of electrical schematics, control circuits, and industrial networks.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel occasionally within the region.
• Knowledge of safety protocols for working with automated machinery is crucial.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and commission industrial automation systems, including PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on automated machinery and control systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair faults in automation hardware and software.
• Program and modify PLC logic, robot programs, and HMI screens as required.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to implement new automation solutions and process improvements.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards, electrical codes, and company policies.
