Job summary

Hatch's Johannesburg office seeks an Architect to join the Architectural team, delivering diverse projects with designers, technologists, engineers and PMs. You will coordinate with disciplines, prepare drawings, and mentor junior staff while maintaining high-quality deliverables.

Applicants should have 5–10 years post-qualification experience and SACAP registration, with strong knowledge of BIM and construction documentation standards.

Qualifications

• Master of Architecture Degree (M.Arch (Prof.)) is required.
• Professional Architect (Pr. Arch) with SACAP is essential.
• 5-10 years post-qualification experience in consulting engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop architectural design for buildings and facilities across design stages.
• Produce construction drawing sets, reports, specifications and other deliverables.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary design with leads, PMs, and stakeholders.
• Mentor junior/intermediate staff and oversee their work.
