Job summary

WSP in South Africa seeks a Senior ICT Operations Lead to drive incident service risk across ELV/ICT systems. The role covers design, implementation and close-out of controls, telecoms, and ICT infrastructure, including BMS, CCTV, and Fibre networks.

The ideal candidate holds a BTech in Electrical & Electronic Engineering with at least five years post‑graduate experience in electronic services engineering. Revit/ACC knowledge and Pr Eng eligibility are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Minimum BTech degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years post-graduation electronic services engineering experience.
• Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Experience with ELV/ICT Designs in Building Services.
• Understanding of Revit and ACC.
• Pr Eng or Pr Tech Eng eligible for registration advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide consulting engineering for design, implementation and close‑out of ELV/ICT systems including Fire Detection, CCTV, Access Control, BMS, Fibre Optic, GPS, RF and related ICT & ELV services.
• Lead the holistic ELV & ICT consulting spectrum from inception to closeout, with emphasis on Controls & Telecoms; ICT services experience a plus.
• Model SHEQ performance and drive Zero Harm by promoting health, safety and environmental quality.
• Coordinate with Building Services teams and manage project documentation, procurement, site monitoring and commissioning.
