Job summary

IIE Rosebank International, part of the ADvTECH Group, invites applications for an academic leader to drive delivery of qualifications and discipline modules, ensuring CHE alignment, quality assurance, and an exceptional student experience across years.

You will lead curriculum design, oversee module leads, support ACE instructional designers, participate in governance, and contribute to research while delivering lectures and campus support.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree (NQF9) in a relevant field.
• Doctoral degree (NQF10) preferred.
• 3–5 years lecturing or teaching assistant experience.
• 3 years work experience in an appropriate area of specialisation.
• 3 years operating in a higher education regulatory environment and online curriculum delivery systems.
• 1–2 years writing curriculum, material and assessment.
• 1–3 year proven supervision, research, and publication experience or potential.

Responsibilities

• Lead curriculum leadership, development, and alignment of a qualification(s) and discipline(s).
• Ensure timely development, quality assurance and maintenance of up-to-date curricula and learning experiences.
• Identify opportunities for curriculum innovation and enhancements.
• Provide guidance to ACE Instructional Designers on learning experiences and assessments.
• Ensure SMEs and experience designers align curricula with industry needs.
• Oversee module leads nationally in material and assessment implementation.
• Collaborate with campus teams to coordinate resource allocation for programmes.
• Deliver lectures and provide campus support as needed.

Education
