Job summary

Copeland, a global HVACR technology leader, is seeking an experienced Application Engineering Support professional in South Africa. The role focuses on rapid technical responses, software-assisted design support, and cross-functional collaboration with distributors, contractors and OEMs to meet project needs.

You will manage training, warranty analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives, while traveling across Africa as required.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
• 8-10 years of experience in HVACR design, projects, service, technical support, or training within the HVACR industry.

Responsibilities

• Swift response to technical queries from customers; collaborate with distributors, contractors and OEMs.
• Assist customers with heat load calculation software.
• Assist with refrigerant line components selection and switchgear sizing.
• Maintain a technical library; support catalogs, bulletins and manuals; develop cross-reference with competition.
