Job summary

FairPlay Engineering seeks a Senior Protection and Control Engineer to design, verify, and deliver protection and control systems for HV substations across new builds, extensions, and renovations. You will translate client requirements into concrete designs, develop technical documentation, and ensure quality across all project phases.

The role offers senior technical ownership, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and a relocation package to the Netherlands.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or comparable technical field.
• Minimum 5 years designing complex HV Protection & Control systems.
• Strong understanding of availability, reliability, maintenance, and safety in substation environments.

Responsibilities

• Translate functional designs into concrete Protection & Control designs and project plans.
• Design protection schemes, control systems, SCADA and monitoring for HV substations.
• Prepare and review technical documents, drawings, calculations and execution documents.
• Support Lead Engineer and Technical Manager through all project phases.
