Job summary

Placements24 in Rustenburg is seeking a Senior HR Generalist to deliver comprehensive HR support across recruitment, employee relations, compensation and benefits, and compliance. You will drive HR initiatives aligned with corporate objectives and contribute to a positive, productive work environment in the North West province.

With a strong understanding of SA labor law, you will maintain confidential records, advise on policies, payroll, and HR processes while supporting a range of managers

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in a generalist HR role, with a strong track record of success.
• In-depth knowledge of South African labor legislation, BCEA, LRA, EEA, and OH&S Act.
• Experience with HRIS systems and payroll administration.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities effectively in Rustenburg.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, from sourcing candidates to onboarding new employees.
• Provide expert guidance on employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary matters.
• Administer and advise on compensation and benefits programs, ensuring compliance and competitiveness.
• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in line with company objectives and legal requirements.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR data, ensuring confidentiality and integrity.
• Support managers and employees with HR-related queries and initiatives.
