Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a versatile HR Generalist to support a diverse employee base in Port Elizabeth. The role covers employee relations, recruitment support, onboarding, performance management and policy adherence, acting as a go-to HR contact across the organisation.

You will handle records, contribute to talent development, investigations when needed, and ensure compliance with South African labour laws. A hybrid work model enables balance and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a generalist HR role.
• Knowledge of South African labour law and HR best practices.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency in HR software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day HR support to employees and management.
• Assist recruitment and onboarding processes for new hires.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data.
• Support performance management cycles and talent development.
• Address employee relations issues and investigations.
