Job summary

Finselect Personnel is seeking a senior HR Business Partner to align HR strategies with business objectives, drive talent management, and lead development across the organisation in South Africa.

You will oversee employee relations, Employment Equity, WSP/ATR submissions, and BBBEE compliance, while delivering workforce analytics and strategic HR initiatives, with willingness to travel nationally and internationally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (NQF Level 7) in HR or related field.
• 8–10 years HR experience, including at least 5 years in a senior HR Business Partner/HR Manager or equivalent strategic role.
• 3–5 years hands-on SDF experience, including WSP/ATR submissions, SETA liaison, grant applications and BBBEE Skills Development compliance.
• Proven experience in employee and labour relations, Employment Equity, talent management and HR strategy implementation.
• Strong knowledge of South African labour legislation and skills development requirements.
• Experience in engineering, manufacturing, mining, energy, construction, infrastructure or a technical corporate environment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior management to align HR strategies with business objectives and growth.
• Drive talent management, succession planning and leadership development initiatives.
• Manage employee and labour relations, including disciplinary, grievance and performance processes.
• Lead Employment Equity, transformation strategies and statutory reporting.
• Oversee learning and development strategies, budgets and training needs analysis.
• Act as Skills Development Facilitator (SDF), managing WSP, ATR, SETA submissions and BBBEE compliance.
• Coordinate learnerships, apprenticeships, internships and bursaries.
• Ensure compliance with SA labour legislation and HR governance.
• Develop HR reports, dashboards and workforce analytics for decision-making.
• Support recruitment and change management initiatives.
