Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior HR Analyst in Upington to drive workforce planning and analytics. The role focuses on collecting and analyzing HR data, forecasting needs, and providing strategic insights to senior leadership in a renewable energy context.

The successful candidate will optimize talent management, develop dashboards, and collaborate with business leaders to ensure the right talent is in the right place at the right time. Strong communication and data storytelling are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in HR, Statistics, Data Science, Business Analytics or related quantitative field.
5–7 years of experience in HR analytics, workforce planning or related analytical role.
Proven ability to analyze data, build models and produce actionable insights.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement workforce planning models and strategies.
Collect, analyze, and interpret HR data from HRIS, payroll, and performance systems.
Create reports and dashboards on headcount, turnover, recruitment, and compensation trends.
Identify trends, risks and opportunities; provide data-driven recommendations.
Support talent acquisition with data-driven sourcing, hiring effectiveness and pipeline insights.
Analyze performance data to inform development and succession planning.
Maintain organizational charts and position management systems.
Collaborate with leaders to understand workforce needs and provide data-driven support.
Ensure data accuracy and governance; stay updated on HR analytics best practices.
