Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in personal lines underwriting with a proven specialization in high net worth segments.
• Deep knowledge of homeowners, contents, motor and specialty lines.
• Excellent analytical, decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build and maintain strong broker relationships and to work in a hybrid environment.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite complex personal insurance risks for high net worth clients with accurate assessment and pricing.
• Develop and maintain relationships with brokers and financial advisors serving affluent clients.
• Analyze client portfolios, assets and exposures to determine coverage and terms.
• Ensure adherence to underwriting guidelines, risk appetite and regulatory compliance.
• Grow and manage a profitable high net worth personal lines portfolio.
• Collaborate with claims teams to understand loss trends affecting underwriting strategies.
• Provide expert guidance to internal teams and external partners on high net worth underwriting.
• Stay updated on market trends and emerging risks relevant to affluent clients.
