Placements24 is seeking a Senior Health and Safety Officer to uphold top safety standards across construction sites in and around Rustenburg. You will develop, implement, and enforce health and safety policies to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with SA legislation.

You will drive a strong safety culture, conduct inspections, lead training, and maintain records. This role requires 5+ years in HSE, PrCHSA registration, and strong knowledge of the SA OHS Act.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in HSE management within construction.
• Registered as a PrCHSA or equivalent.
• In-depth knowledge of SA OHS Act and regulations.
• Excellent communication, training, and auditing skills.
• Ability to lead safety initiatives on site in Rustenburg.

About the Role

This critical role involves developing, implementing, and enforcing comprehensive health and safety policies and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with all relevant legislation. You will be instrumental in fostering a strong safety culture among all site personnel, conducting regular inspections, risk assessments, and training sessions.
