Job summary

Placements24 in Stellenbosch, Western Cape, seeks a Senior Construction Health and Safety Officer for a hybrid role. You will develop and enforce comprehensive HSE programs across multiple sites, manage risk, and promote a strong safety culture to protect personnel.

With at least 7 years in construction HSE, you will lead investigations, deliver toolbox talks, and ensure compliance with SA regulations while supporting continuous safety improvements and employee welfare.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in a health and safety role within construction.
• Experience developing and implementing safety management systems.
• Strong knowledge of South African OHS legislation and regulations.
• Proven ability to lead investigations and produce detailed reports.
• Effective leadership and clear communication with site teams.

Responsibilities
