Job summary

Boardroom Appointments is seeking an experienced Group Projects Manager to provide strategic leadership for multi-disciplinary mining projects. You will lead the project office, manage Project Managers, and drive governance, safety, and delivery within scope, time and budget.

The role focuses on commercial performance, engineering design, and customer engagement across the organisation's product range and project capabilities.

Qualifications

• Advanced Diploma, BTech or higher in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Formal Project Management qualification is required.
• Mechanical engineering qualification and Pr Eng registration would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to the project office and manage project capabilities.
• Develop and maintain policies, standards and procedures for project activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety legislation and customer safety requirements.
• Maintain ISO Quality Management System and contractual quality standards.
• Oversee project cost management and profitability tracking.
• Review proposals, costings and project schedules for accuracy.
• Coordinate site surveys and conceptual design support for costing.
• Drive continuous improvement across PM processes and delivery methodologies.
