Edge Executive Search Group seeks a seasoned Golf Project Manager to lead high-profile projects in Gauteng within the golfing and events industry.

The role involves managing key client accounts from briefs to post-project analysis, ensuring quality, efficiency and financial performance. You will coordinate teams, oversee sponsorships and events, and deliver compelling proposals to senior stakeholders.

Formación

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in project management, preferably within sports, events, or sponsorship sectors.
• Proven track record managing large-scale client accounts and complex projects.
• Strong expertise in budget management, risk mitigation, and stakeholder coordination.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
• Exceptional communication and presentation capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
• Solid understanding of contractual and legal considerations in event management.

Responsabilidades

• Manage client accounts, briefs, concepts, commercial proposals, and project strategies.
• Develop and sustain relationships with clients at various levels.
• Oversee golf sponsorship accounts, ensuring contractual rights and deliverables are met.
• Lead planning, implementation, reporting and debriefing of golf events and projects.
• Create detailed project plans, budgets, risk assessments, and operational reports.
• Prepare presentations, tenders, and proposals from client briefs.
• Present project proposals to executive-level clients.
• Coordinate marketing content, player management, and stakeholder engagement.
• Manage suppliers, rights holders and project stakeholders.
• Oversee activation, logistics, broadcast, media and experiential requirements.
• Maintain project documentation including scope changes and budgets.
• Identify and mitigate project risks.
• Lead Golf Project Coordinators and Administrators.
