Placements24 is seeking a Senior Golf Operations Manager for a prestigious golf estate in Pretoria, Gauteng. Lead daily golf operations, manage tee times, course conditioning, cart fleet, and pro shop activities, while ensuring exceptional service for members and guests.

The role requires a degree in Hospitality Management or related field, a minimum of six years in golf operations with three in a senior role, and proven experience with high-end courses.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Golf Management or related field.
• Minimum 6 years in golf operations management, with at least 3 years in a senior role.
• Proven experience managing high-end golf courses or resorts.
• Strong understanding of golf rules, course maintenance and tournament operations.
• Exceptional leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated financial acumen including budget management and revenue forecasting.
• Experience in event planning and execution.
• Proficiency with golf management software (Jonas, ForeTees) and POS systems.
• Passion for golf and commitment to superior service.
• Knowledge of the Pretoria golf market and club scene is desirable.

Aufgaben

• Oversee daily golf operations including tee time management, course conditioning, cart fleet and pro shop activities.
• Manage and develop relationships with members to ensure exceptional service and satisfaction.
• Plan, organize and execute golf tournaments, corporate events and social functions.
• Supervise, train and mentor the golf operations team and staff.
• Develop and manage the annual golf operations budget focusing on revenue and costs.
• Ensure course and facilities meet high standards in coordination with the Head Greenkeeper.
• Implement club policies and etiquette related to golf operations.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales to promote golf packages, memberships, and events.
• Manage inventory and merchandising in the pro shop to optimize sales.
• Stay updated on golf industry trends and implement improvements for members and guests.
