Qualifications

• National Certificate or Diploma in Extractive Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a process operator in a gold processing plant.
• Strong understanding of gold extraction metallurgy, including CIL/CIP and related processes.
• Proficiency in operating industrial control systems (DCS) and process monitoring equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to safety and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor gold extraction process equipment (crushers, mills, CIL/CIP circuits, filtration).
• Perform routine checks, calibrate instruments, and troubleshoot deviations to maintain parameters.
• Conduct quality control tests on process streams and final products to specs.
• Adhere to safety procedures, environmental regulations, and protocols.
• Train and mentor junior operators with guidance on best practices and safe methods.
