Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Senior Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Supervisor to oversee daily operations at their Rustenburg facility. You will lead a production team, ensure adherence to cGMP and SOPs, and drive continuous improvements to maintain quality and yield.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific or technical field.
• Minimum 5 years in pharmaceutical manufacturing with 2+ years in supervision.
• Strong cGMP knowledge and regulatory compliance.
• Based in or willing to relocate to the Rustenburg area.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct the activities of pharmaceutical manufacturing personnel to ensure production targets are met efficiently and safely.
• Ensure all manufacturing operations are conducted in strict compliance with cGMP and SOPs.
• Monitor production processes and implement corrective actions to maintain quality and yield.
• Train and mentor production staff on equipment operation, safety procedures and GMP requirements.
• Oversee accurate documentation of manufacturing activities, including batch records and logs.
• Investigate deviations, OOS results, and customer complaints related to manufacturing.
• Collaborate with QA, QC, Engineering and Maintenance to resolve production challenges.
• Promote safety, quality and accountability within the production team.
