Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Senior Geologist to join their fully remote mining team. The role focuses on leveraging advanced geological knowledge and data analysis to identify and assess mineral resources from a distance, guiding exploration strategies and project viability in a flexible, results-driven environment.

You will work with remote engineering and management teams, utilize Leapfrog, Vulcan and Micromine for resource modeling, and communicate findings clearly.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or Ph.D. in Geology or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in geological exploration and resource evaluation within the mining sector.
• Proficiency with geological modeling software ( Leapfrog, Vulcan, Micromine ) and data analysis tools.
• Demonstrated experience in resource estimation and reporting according to international standards (e.g., JORC, NI 43-101).
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, particularly in a virtual setting.

Responsibilities
