Placements24 seeks a Senior Exploration Geologist to join our remote team and lead global oil & gas exploration efforts. You will identify prospects, evaluate provinces, and guide strategies using seismic, logs and core data.

You will collaborate with international teams, develop geological models, perform risk analyses, and prepare technical reports for portfolio management.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in Geology, Geophysics, or a related Earth Science discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in oil and gas exploration with a focus on basin analysis and prospect generation.
• Proven track record of successful exploration discoveries or significant contributions to exploration campaigns.
• Proficiency with geological modeling software and data analysis tools.
• Strong understanding of structural geology, stratigraphy, and sedimentology.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, essential for remote team collaboration.
