Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Geology or related Earth Science field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in exploration and production (E&P) in Oil & Gas.
• Proficiency in geological modeling software (Petrel, DecisionSpace).
• Strong knowledge of sequence stratigraphy, structural geology, and petroleum systems.
• Experience with seismic interpretation and data integration.

Responsibilities

This role is fundamental to identifying and quantifying prospective oil and gas reserves, contributing to strategic asset growth. You will interpret geological data, build subsurface models, and collaborate with engineering teams to define exploration targets and development opportunities within the Gauteng region. The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in geological modeling and a strong understanding of petroleum systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret geological data, including well logs, seismic surveys, core samples, and outcrop data.
• Construct detailed 3D geological models of subsurface structures and stratigraphy.
