Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in Geology with focus on structural geology.
• 7+ years of mineral exploration geology experience with emphasis on structural interpretation.
• Proficient in 3D geological modelling software (Leapfrog Geo / similar).
• In-depth knowledge of structural geology, rock mechanics and regional tectonics.
• Experience with multiple deposit types and their structural settings.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• P.Geo or equivalent desirable.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Detail-oriented with rigorous data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed structural geological mapping and analysis of exploration targets.
• Integrate geological, structural, geophysical, and geochemical data to create 3D models.
• Interpret structural data from core logging, surface mapping, and geophysical surveys.
• Use Leapfrog Geo and GeoModeller to construct refined structural models.
• Identify structural controls on mineralization to guide exploration.
• Collaborate with geophysicists, geochemists, and mine engineers for holistic understanding.
• Prepare geological reports, cross-sections, and presentations detailing interpretations.
• Provide expert geological input to exploration strategies and management.
• Assist in planning diamond and RC drilling based on structural understanding.
• Mentor junior geologists in structural interpretation techniques.
