Qualifications

• PhD in Geology with a specialization in Structural Geology.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in structural geology within mineral exploration.
• Expertise in field structural mapping and analysis of faults, folds, and fabrics.

Responsibilities

• Lead advanced structural geological mapping and analysis projects in the Nelspruit area and broader Mpumalanga.
• Develop detailed 3D structural models integrating surface and subsurface data.
• Conduct kinematic and dynamic analyses of deformation structures to understand ore controls.
• Design and oversee fieldwork including structural transects and data interpretation.
• Interpret geophysical and geochemical data within structural geology context.
• Collaborate with exploration and resource geology teams to guide drilling and target generation.
• Prepare technical reports, presentations, and publications; mentor junior geologists.
• Ensure safety and environmental compliance in all field activities.
