Placements24 is seeking an experienced Senior Geologist to support exploration and asset evaluation in the Klerksdorp region. This field-based role involves detailed geological mapping, subsurface analysis, and integrating geophysical data to identify hydrocarbon opportunities.

You will work with geophysicists, reservoir engineers, and management to guide exploration strategies, develop field concepts, and produce reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Geology or related Earth Science.
• Minimum of 6 years of exploration geology experience in oil and gas.
• Proficiency in Petrel and Kingdom for interpretation and modeling.
• Strong knowledge of structural geology, sedimentology, and stratigraphy.
• Excellent field skills and ability to work in challenging environments.

Key Responsibilities
