Qualifications

• 6+ years experience as a Technical Artist in games.
• Strong proficiency in 3D modeling, texturing and animation tools.
• Expertise in Unreal Engine or Unity.
• Proficiency with Python, MEL, or C# scripting.
• Experience with shader development and rendering optimization.
• Excellent problem-solving and collaborative work in Mahikeng.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and maintain art pipelines and tools for game development.
• Work with artists to ensure assets are technically sound and performant for target platforms.
• Implement and troubleshoot shaders, materials, and rendering features within the engine.
• Create scripts and tools to automate art tasks and improve workflow efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineers to integrate art assets and troubleshoot engine issues.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the art team.
