Qualifications

• 8-10 years' experience in software development, particularly within a database development environment.
• At least 5 years' experience in Financial Adviser/cust. service or investment platform environment.
• Relevant commerce degree in IT/Finance/Economics/Statistics/Investment Management or Business Management.
• Strong technical and business analysis capabilities; translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; engage confidently with stakeholders.
• Multilingual capabilities would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Engage with business stakeholders to gather, analyse and document business requirements.
• Translate business needs and functional requirements into technical specifications and digital solutions.
• Analyse existing systems and processes to identify opportunities for improvement and optimisation.
• Design, develop and maintain responsive, user-friendly web applications.
• Take ownership of solutions through the full development lifecycle (design, development, testing, implementation, support).
• Collaborate with business, operations, UX/UI and technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Develop and maintain front-end and back-end components; ensure seamless integration.
• Ensure applications meet performance, scalability, security and code-quality standards.
• Provide production support, troubleshoot issues and resolve incidents.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by adopting appropriate technologies and practices.
• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders across the organisation.
