Job summary

Isanqa Resourcing is assisting a client in South Africa to hire a Senior Full Stack Developer for their global IT hub, focusing on the Stock & Fleet workflow. You will build modern, resilient full stack solutions using Java 21+, Quarkus v3+, and Angular v18+.

The role covers backend and frontend development, microservices, event streaming with Kafka, and NoSQL with MongoDB. Hybrid work options with 3–4 location sites and home-office rotation are available.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 8 to 10+ years of dedicated software development experience across backend and frontend stacks.
• Demonstrated delivery experience inside structured Agile/Scrum teams.

Responsibilities

• Full Stack Development: design, implement, and maintain responsive front-end applications (Angular) and high-performance microservices (Quarkus/Java).
• Code Reviews & Quality: conduct peer code reviews, write automated test suites (JUnit/Jest), and maintain ISO-standard tech docs.
• Operational Support: provide 3rd level support for production incidents and assist deployment flows.
• Agile Collaboration: participate in sprint ceremonies and coach team members.

Our Client is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join the core Software Engineering squad within their global IT Hub, driving the "Stock & Fleet@Agent Workflow" product.

This product provides complete transparency and visibility over new, used, and fleet vehicle inventory until final sale, utilizing an automated workflow engine to orchestrate cross-system business flows.

In this role, you will build modern, resilient full stack solutions leveraging modern Java 21+, Quarkus v3+, and Angular v18+ architectures.

• Modern Full Stack Stack: 8 10+ years of software development experience with deep expertise in Java 21+, Quarkus v3+, and frontend engineering using Angular v18+, TypeScript, JavaScript, and responsive CSS.
• Microservices, Event Streaming & NoSQL: Proven hands-on experience designing microservices, consuming RESTful APIs, streaming events with Apache Kafka, and managing NoSQL databases (MongoDB).
• Testing & Container Orchestration: Strong testing discipline using JUnit, Mockito, Jest, and Playwright alongside container deployments with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS Cloud.

• Location: Midrand / Menlyn / Rosslyn / Home Office Rotation
• Level: Senior (6-8 Years related experience)

• Data & Messaging: Apache Kafka event streaming and MongoDB (NoSQL).
• Testing & Quality: JUnit, Mockito, Jest, and Git best practices.
• Cloud & Containers: AWS Cloud, Docker containerization, and Kubernetes orchestration.

Advantageous Skills:

• Experience with Terraform (IaC), Playwright end-to-end testing, and automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Hexagonal architecture patterns and monitoring with Grafana.
• Familiarity with Figma design systems and security best practices.
