Job summary

DeARX in Sandton is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to design, develop, and deliver enterprise-grade digital solutions that impact millions of customers. You will work in agile teams, building scalable cloud-ready applications across the full technology stack.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology or Computer Science.
• 6+ years of experience in full stack software development.
• Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale software solutions.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
• Banking or financial services experience will be highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable, secure, and high-performance full stack applications.
• Translate business and technical requirements into innovative software solutions.
• Build and maintain both front-end and back-end components of enterprise applications.
• Develop reusable APIs, libraries, and software components.
• Design and optimise SQL and NoSQL database solutions.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Develop event-driven solutions and distributed systems.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.

• Troubleshoot production issues and improve application performance and reliability.
