Job summary

Network Contracting in Sandton is seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to join our technology team on a 12-month contract. This hybrid role focuses on enterprise Java applications and scalable microservices to support critical business operations.

You will drive the full SDLC, collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior developers, and ensure code quality through design reviews, testing, and performance optimisations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Informatics, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years' commercial Java development experience.
• Enterprise application development experience.
• Banking or financial services experience is advantageous.
• System Design experience is beneficial.
