Placements24 seeks a Senior Research Fellow in Mahikeng to lead pharmaceutical formulation development and drug delivery research within a well-resourced laboratory. You will oversee projects, guide experiments, and contribute to scientific publications while collaborating with regulatory and manufacturing teams.

The role requires a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences with substantial post-doctoral or industry experience, strong analytical skills, and deep knowledge of ICH guidelines.

Qualifications

Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences or related field.
At least 5 years post-PhD R&D experience in pharma.
Expert in formulation development and drug delivery technologies.
Experience with HPLC, DSC, TGA, and XRD.
Strong regulatory knowledge (ICH guidelines).

Responsibilities

Lead formulation development and drug delivery research projects.
Design pre-formulation studies and stability testing.
Characterize dosage forms and optimize manufacturing processes.
Analyze data and publish results in scientific journals.
Collaborate with regulatory, analytical, and manufacturing teams.
