Placements24 seeks a Senior Fixed Network Planning Engineer for its East London client in the telecommunications sector. You will lead strategic planning for fixed network expansion, designing FTTH/FTTB and copper services to ensure capacity and reliability.

With 7+ years in fixed network planning, you will evaluate new technologies, prepare BOMs and cost estimates, and mentor junior engineers while collaborating with deployment teams on-site in East London.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Telecommunications Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in fixed network planning and design.
• Deep knowledge of optical and copper access networks and related infra.
• Proficiency with CAD and network planning tools.

Responsabilidades

• Develop long-term and short-term expansion plans for fixed network infrastructure.
• Design architectures for FTTH, FTTB, and copper-based services.
• Conduct capacity planning and forecasting to match demand.
• Evaluate new technologies and equipment for integration.
• Prepare BOMs, project cost estimates, and detailed designs.
• Collaborate with field ops, construction, and provisioning teams.
