Job summary
Smart4 Energy in Cape Town, Western Cape, seeks an experienced Fire BIM Modeller to develop detailed BIM models for fire protection and services. You will work across commercial and complex buildings, focusing on Revit modelling and accurate documentation.
The role requires strong Revit proficiency, BIM coordination skills, and knowledge of fire protection systems. Occasional coordination with multidisciplinary teams and adherence to project BIM standards are essential.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of BIM/Revit modelling experience.
- Fire protection / fire services modelling experience.
- Strong Revit capability and coordination skills.
- Experience with sprinkler and hydrant systems is advantageous.
- Knowledge of SA fire standards and building regs is beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed BIM models for fire protection and services using Revit.
- Produce coordinated layouts, drawings, sections and schedules.
- Model sprinkler, hydrant, hose reel and fire-water systems.
- Generate documentation through design to as-built stages.
- Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, structural and architectural teams.
- Perform BIM coordination and clash detection.
