Job summary

BVi Consulting Engineers - BVi Group is seeking a skilled MEP Revit BIM Modeller for our office in Cape Town. The ideal candidate must be based in Cape Town and will play a crucial role in developing and managing detailed MEP BIM models using Autodesk Revit.

Responsibilities include leading modelling efforts for HVAC and fire protection systems, performing clash detection, and maintaining Revit families. A minimum of 5 - 8 years of experience in MEP BIM modelling and advanced proficiency in Revit and Navisworks are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 - 8 years of experience in MEP BIM modelling.
• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit (MEP disciplines).
• Strong working knowledge of Navisworks.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and coordinate MEP BIM models using Revit.
• Lead modelling efforts for HVAC, fire protection, and wet services.
• Ensure models comply with standards and project BIM execution plans.
• Perform advanced clash detection and coordination using Navisworks.
• Set up and maintain Revit families, templates, and standards.
